Iridium IX - die Alternative für noch mehr Leistung

Diese Hochleistungs-Zündkerzen mit einer Mittelelektrode aus dem Edelmetall Iridium werden von vielen Herstellern in der Erstausrüstung eingesetzt. Sie wurden speziell für neuste Motortechnologien entwickelt, aber auch für ältere Modelle sind sie die Alternative zur Standardtype, um Leistungsreserven voll auszuschöpfen.

Das Besondere daran:
- Das Elektrodenmaterial Iridium ist annähernd resistent gegen Funkenerosion.
- Iridium ermöglicht besonders schmale Mittelelektroden von nur 0,6 mm Durchmesser.
- Bei schmalen Mittelelektroden gelangt mehr zündfähiges Gemisch zum Zündfunken. Das führt zu einer zuverlässigen Entflammung und besseren Ausbreitung der Flammfront.
