Expensive But Worth The Price
I bought these to replace the Highway Hawk forward controls which had been on my '95 bike for the last 15 years. Although much more expensive than most alternatives they are very high quality and worth the extra cost if you are intending to keep the bike for a long time (I've had mine from new and have no intention to sell it). Apart from the grease nipples and the lack of play in the joints, the main advantage is that they get rid of the original footrest mounting bar that passes under the engine. This bar severely restricts ground clearance and cornering ability, particularly when with a passenger and touring luggage (we often travel around Europe). I would have given it a 10 if the instructions had been clearer. They are in German which would have been OK if the pictures had been sharper and a list/pictures of the original control parts still required had been provided.
